The No. 7 is the most frequently
used Try or Jointer plane and this Lie-Nielsen is very
popular with craftsmen for its accuracy. It is ground (as are
all Lie-Nielsen planes) flat
within 0.03mm over the full length and square within 0.03mm
and is very well balanced
for its size. Supplied with ductile iron body, bronze lever
cap and frog, cryogenically
treated A2 steel blade with cherry handles.
