This marking gauge measures

The stem is a steel rod 180mm(7") long by 8mm( ")
diameter, with a groove along
its length to take the clamping screw points and the hardened
cutting wheel securely
fixed to the end. The solid brass body is in three parts; the
central knurled section
forms a micrometer adjuster whilst the thumbscrews on the other
two sections are
used to lock the head. When not in use the blade can be retracted
safely into a recess
in the head. A beautifully made and very functional tool. |
