This traditional dowel plate
will enable you to make the dowels you need in your chosen
timber quickly and accurately. Available in metric or imperial,
the holes are to size at the
top face for 0.6mm(.025") into the hole, thereafter they
have a 6° clearance taper.
The plate can be lapped on the top surface, if it needs sharpening,
many times without
affecting sizing. To keep your dowel plate safe and ready for
work,
the purpose made leather wallet is an essential accessory.
The metric plate gives sizes 3, 4, 6, 8,
10, and 12mm.
The imperial one
