A classic dovetail saw brought
to perfection by the modern craftsmanship of the
renowned Lie-Nielsen workshops. The blades are made from 0.5mm(.020")
thick
polished Swedish steel and the handles are from curly Maple.
A delight both to
look at and to use.
Since dovetailing is a ripping operation, where the kerf is
running with the grain,
the teeth are filed to a rip profile, unlike other dovetail
saws on the market today.
With 15 points per 25mm, this saw strikes an ideal balance
between surface finish
and speed. Rip cut teeth are set at 0.07mm per side for a fine
0.66mm kerf.
Length (including handle): 350mm(14")
Blade: 230mm(9") long by
42mm(1 ") deep.
