The blade is bedded at the
low angle of 12° with
the 25° bevel up
which, coupled with the ability to produce exceptionally fine
settings via the micrometer adjuster and
the fully adjustable mouth, makes the No. 60 ½ a good
all rounder that excels at end grain work.
Produced to the same high standards, the ductile cast iron
body is ground flat and square to 0.02mm.
Supplied with a ductile iron body, cryogenically treated A2
tool steel blade with bronze and stainless
steel fittings.
